Water-Wastewater Funders Meeting (afternoon session)
In conjunction with the MRWA Technical Conference, state and federal funders will be holding informational meetings on our water, wastewater, and stormwater funding programs on March 7, 2012 at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud. There is no charge to attend these sessions.
In the morning from 10:00 to 11:30 representatives from the Pollution Control Agency, Department of Health, and the Public Facilities Authority will discuss and take questions on the state’s Clean Water and Drinking Water Revolving Fund loan programs, the Wastewater Infrastructure Funding (WIF) program, and Clean Water Legacy Fund programs. State agency staff will stay through the lunch hour to continue the discussion or talk about individual projects.
In the afternoon from 1:00 to 3:30 representatives from USDA Rural Development will discuss issues related to their water and wastewater programs. They also have three guest speakers scheduled as part of the discussion.
