Upper Mississippi River Workshop (Southern States)

August 4, 2011

Two upcoming workshops will bring together diverse participants from a range of agencies and interest groups to discuss nutrient issues on the Upper Mississippi River (UMR). Specifically, the dialogue will focus on UMR nutrient impacts, current efforts, and collaborative opportunities for the future.

Workshops will be held in La Crosse, Wisconsin on August 24, 2011 and in Hannibal, Missouri on September 7, 2011. These two workshops will have similar content and are being held in separate locations to best facilitate broad participation. The La Crosse session will be most focused on the states of Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin and the Hannibal session on the states of Illinois and Missouri. You are encouraged to attend the workshop that best fits your schedule and interest, though you are also welcome to attend both workshops.

To confirm your attendance, please RSVP to Margie Daniels at mdaniels@umrba.org or 651-224-2880 no later than Tuesday, August 16th, indicating which workshop(s) you plan to attend.
