Commercial Environmental Laboratories Meeting
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is sponsoring a public meeting on August 17th, 2011 at 1:30pm in the Central Board Rooms of the St. Paul Office, 520 Lafayette Road North, St. Paul, 55155.
The purpose of the meeting is discuss the two draft policies sent to the commercial laboratories in June in order to receive public comment and have open discussion on the documents. The meeting will also tentatively have a presentation by the Minnesota Department of Health on the Public Health System and how the private laboratory community has input into this system. Lastly, the MPCA will present the MPCA Updated Certification Policy in a draft format for open discussion and then a public comment period open for a month. The Certification Policy will be provided by MPCA prior to the meeting.
MPCA requests that each company only send a maximum of two representatives due to room restrictions. The meeting will be available on WebEx for remote viewing.
